Hard work can hurt

When one method of marketing has been around for a while people start to push the limits and find new ways to market, which makes it great for me and you. People say marketing has it’s limits but then someone finds a new way to do an old things and it’s all fresh once again.

I work from home and that’s why I love online marketing. It gives me access to a market that just a few years ago would have been next to impossible to address, but now we are a much smaller world and easily able to reach hundreds of thousands even though I live in a small community.

People want to find what they want online now although I still like to shop locally when possible, just to keep my hard earned money in my community, but for a lot of things not available around here the Internet is the first place I go.

I read a lot of ebooks about marketing online and have learned to structure my blogs and web sites to draw free traffic from the major search engines and social networks. It’s almost an unlimited audience of target traffic.

Just starting a web site or a blog isn’t going to be good enough these days. You need to learn about search engine optimization for those sites so that you get target traffic ready to pull out their wallets. Know the phrases for your niche that are money phrases. Phrases people use when they are not just browsing or kicking tires, but ready to purchase. That’s how you are going to make money with online marketing.

Note: A great method of online marketing that will give you back links and help to increase your rankings is to use article marketing. Write keyword focused articles that point back to your money sites and related blog posts.

Go Natural, Forget The Black Hat Marketing

There is a dark side to online marketing and I suggest strongly you avoid it. This is experience talking as I had a number of sites disappear from Google in an instant because I didn’t know what I was doing.

Stick to natural online marketing by doing proper niche and keyword research so you are working keyword phrases that pay and then start writing good content, using no more than two keyword phrases per page. Stay under the radar and let your online business grow naturally.

Do you fancy earning from home? Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up each day with calmness in body and mind, knowing that your business starts in the next door of your room, where your computer lies? Affiliate marketing is all about making money online at the comfort of your own home. Unfortunately there are individuals who are unaware of the real business tactics when it comes to affiliate marketing. One is to get your affiliate marketing statistics right.

There are affiliates who carry out their business online but have no idea if they are making a profit or not. Affiliate marketing statistics is what shows you that. Affiliate marketing statistics can be obtained from the daily marketing activities in your website. Where you profit and where you are losing can be easily identified by having a summary of all this data.

So what exactly goes into the compilation of affiliate marketing statistics? Simply stated, the number of visitors that enter the website or website traffic can be identified by this. In addition, the conversion rates and the click-through-rate that’s used for marketing articles can be obtained as a result of affiliate marketing statistics.

The choice between obtaining manually or automatically generated affiliate marketing statistics is up to you. The latter is preferred by many people because manual work requires some learning and the results may not always be accurate. Why not use recognized tracking software’s in getting affiliate marketing statistics? This will give you quick results as well as help you identify where your plus points are.

Some affiliates use various tracking software’s to gather affiliate marketing statistics with regard to their pay per click (PPC) marketing campaigns. Using such methods usually help them in identifying which keywords grab the attention of potential customers and which keywords need a change.

Did you know that various affiliate programs and networks offer affiliate marketing statistics to different affiliates in making their job easier? This helps them in choosing the product and service they are comfortable with in promoting.

Article Video Robot: Turn your articles into video for just 0.97 cents!

Article Marketing Key Steps:

Article Marketing is a excellent way to get free Search engine traffic . Article marketing can be a very rewarding website traffic generator but you need to have a article marketing plan in place to be successful. Your plan must include a set number of articles to publish per month. The most important element of a article marketing plan is follow through. Don’t get side tracked with excuses.

For example I have A fishing site and I post a minimum of 1 article per week about fishing. One article may not sound like a lot but you are building links with these articles that will last a lifetime. Also quality and respectability are strong factors when writing articles. If you don’t have a goal to recognized as a expert in your selected “niche” then don’t bother with article marketing.

Also article marketing is not a quick hit marketing technique that will get you 1000’s of hits to your website. Your traffic will grow gradually over time. There are no guarantees on how much website traffic you will receive but I can guarantee that the traffic you do receive will be highly targeted and that is best kind of website traffic you can receive. Just for example I have been using my article marketing plan for approximately two years now. My plan has been very successful and I have doubled my sales through my fishing site over this time.

Now let’s get to the meat of my article and look at key steps that are needed to make your article marketing efforts successful.

#1 Identify your “niche” market. Do not waste your time starting to write articles until you have completed this step. The more specific you are when you identify what you want to write about the better success you will have.

#2 Create a keyword , keyword phrase list of at least 50 keyword phrases. The more specific you can be with your phrases the more website traffic you will generate to your website. {I do not recommend you start out targeting single keywords, select keyword phrases about your niche that are two and three words in length. Concentrate on using keyword phrases that are two and three words in length.} To be honest with you I have never done very well with single keywords in my articles. It has been my experience that single keywords do not score high for me on the search engines. To develop your keyword phrase list go to Google Adwords and use their free keyword tool. It is an excellent marketing tool. Type in a single keyword that is associated with your “niche” market. Adwords will generate a list of two and three keyword phrases for you. Make sure you download or copy this list for future use when you are writing your articles.

#3 Now you are ready to start writing articles! What I do in my writing is just start writing what comes to mind that is pertinent to the niche I have selected. If you have to do any research do it before you start writing. This is also an excellent way to help with your articles structure. Start out writing by inserting your two and three word phrases as you go. One thing about keywords or phrases is that you do not want to repeat the same targeted word or phrase more than once every 100 hundred words. Take for example, if I were writing a article about article marketing and targeting the phrase “ Article Automation” and the length of my article was say 700 words, I would need to make sure this key word phrase was not used more than once every 100 words and no more then 7 times total. There are ways to mix your phrases up to get the same ranking without duplicating your phrases; example instead of using “article automation” you could use “automate articles” and not be penalized by the search engines for excessive keywords. There are ways to write your article using key word phrases without compromising the quality of your article so always proof read your article at least several times before publishing.

#4 Your next and final step is creating and developing a good article directory list to submit your articles too. All article directories are not created equal so I suggest you use the following simple steps list the sites you want to submit to in a priority by Google ranking sequence. To get a listing of directories just do a search using the key word “article directory” as your search term. The results will give you 1000’nds of sites to use in your list development. I Do suggest two very important article sites that are worth mentioning that you should put at the top of your list, and they are ezinearticles.com and Searchwarp.com. I use a free Google ranking tool that is simple to use to locate each sites ranking. Type in the following keyword phrase “website ranking tools for Google” at Google’s search box to find a free ranking tool suitable for you, or just e-mail me and I send the link I use. Just a note when developing a list use sites with rankings of 6,5,4,3 first, these sites will get you some traffic over time.

Now your ready to start article marketing! Good Luck In your efforts, Sincerely Mark Fleagle.

Staying Away from Bad Traffic

A large amount of traffic to your website is not always directly reflected in the amount of products or services your website sells.  You need the right kind of traffic to your website, which means attracting a targeted group of people that are most likely to become your customers.

There is a large variety of free ways that you can get more people to visit your website.  Dont let online businesses that promise to boost traffic to your website for a monthly fee trick you.  They are just expensive gimmicks.

What these companies don’t tell you is that one of the methods they use to drive traffic to your site is paying people to ’surf’ the Internet. People log into a website, enter a password and their computer will automatically ’surf the net’, displaying different websites.

The truth is that the person whose computer is auto-surfing the net might not even be looking at their screen while it does so.  Such visitors will create more traffic for your website, but this in no way means that you will get more paying customers too.

It may sound like a contradiction, but promoting free items can also bring in bad traffic. Yes, you may attract more visitors, but a lot of those people just want a ‘freebie’.  They might not really care about the services or products you provide, and once they get that ‘freebie’, they may never return to your site again. Now, that doesn’t mean you should never offer free items  they can definitely help increase sales in certain situations, such as a ‘buy this ebook and receive this free special report’ offer.

More website traffic is not the same as more costumers.  For that reason, exchanging banners or links is not a guaranteed way to help you sell more products and services.  You need to focus on your target customers.

If your website provides information on babies, exchanging links with a sport fishing website is not sensible.  Whatever you do to boost website traffic, keep in mind that you have a target audience and work to appeal to them.  Update your website with information and content that will attract the right kind of visitor, one who will become your customer.

People who visit your website will come back in an effort to read and learn more when they realize that your website is providing the highest quality content.  You are sure to gain new customers as such good traffic builds up on your site.
