As an internet business proprietor, you must constantly check your website’s search engine ranking. A page rank of 5 or higher from search engines such as Yahoo!, Bing and Google will be wonderful for your internet business! Maybe you have engaged experts or search engine optimisation firms to acquire a high ranking as well as generate loads of back-links, but do you know that you can also build inlinks through article marketing? This short article will describe this specific method.

There is a high possibility that you have already come across some authority sites in the duration of your online surfing. These authority sites are notable for their heavy utilisation of high-quality material. Because authority sites have a lot of content, they’ll also be full of inward links.

If you have a site that must get a better rating, you can ride on the popularity of these authority sites in order to raise that ranking. Lots of folks call this ‘piggybacking’. This approach is completely legit provided that you do it ethically. If not, you will become called a spammer. Spammers are characterized as individuals who would do whatever it takes to increase website traffic or become noticed by other folks on the web by leaving random and unrelated feedback on a variety of sites. If you turn to spamming, you’ll bother as well as provoke others because you’re not adding any value to online discourses and would disrupt the flow of conversation that is already set up.

However, there is a highly effective method to legitimately generate one-way links for your business site. Article promotion is a method utilized by many businessmen to get more page views, have an excellent reputation among online surfers and also get more customers. The biggest appeal of this particular approach is that individuals could do this for free or at an affordable price.

The very first step in article promotion is to compose plenty of content pieces. You need a few hundred articles pertaining to your products and services; this might be such a huge number, but your write-ups don’t have to be long. As a matter of fact, it’s best to keep your articles short and sweet due to the limited attention span and time of many viewers. You ought to have about 300 to 500 words for each content piece, and add as much details as possible within that limit. Most individuals find 300-word articles to be too brief to provide any value; utilizing around 400 words for every write-up will be enough for you to share with your readers all the information that you think they need to understand. Articles that use over 500 words would be thought of as too long and may be less useful, depending on your chosen area of interest. Be sure to put in a link to your site toward the end of all your write-ups. These links will lead visitors to your site and generate increased page views, profits and inlinks.

If you don’t have the energy and time to craft content pieces, you can also hire freelance article writers or article writing services to do the job. You will be able to concentrate on the other areas of your business when you outsource your write-ups, and you can make your articles as generalized or exhaustive as you wish for a budget-friendly price.

When you’re done writing content pieces, you need to submit all of them to online directories with superb page ratings. The most popular article submission websites will have a page ranking of 5 or 6. The article directory sites that you must target have to have a ranking of 4. Don’t bother submitting your articles to online directories which have inferior page ratings because these won’t help you realize your objective and build much more inbound links for your website. You can also reserve your write-ups for article banks that have search engine rankings of only 5 and 6.

Essentially, article marketing is a superb technique. This is something that can be done right away, with no or minimal costs. It may be a time-consuming endeavor, but lots of online marketing experts affirm its efficiency, which is worth considering.

One of the most effective and reliable methods of promoting your website is through article marketing.

Due to the growing competition, achieving targeted traffic to your site has become expensive in terms of time and money. Utilizing article marketing is perfect for anyone because there isn’t any up-front cost involved in order to begin. If you want your online business to be successful, you are going to have to have a constant traffic flow in order to see this happen. You won’t have any real results if you don’t have a steady flow of traffic.

Article marketing takes some effort if you’re going to do it yourself, but if you choose to outsource it, the whole process is a cakewalk. Whatever you choose, this marketing method has proved its worth many times. This technique isn’t only used by online marketers who are just starting out, but also by online marketers who have been in the business many years. The smartest thing about article marketing is that people who read your articles and then visit your website offer are more likely to become customers because your article will have convinced them before they click through to your site. The information in your article can serve as an introduction to your product or service so your customer will be better informed about what your business has to offer.

There are so many benefits to reap from article marketing; we will discuss a few of them here to give a better idea of how to proceed.

The easiest way to explain article marketing is that it can build up your brand name and at the same time send tons of visitors to your site. You must understand that any article you write and publish must be carefully constructed and written, including an acceptable keyword density, in order to be successful. But if everything falls in place, then the benefit you get out of article marketing is a continuous flow of traffic that goes on for years to come. You are able to get most of your article reading audience to run to your website, assuming the article that you are creating is relevant to your target market. This in turn increases the conversion rate, which brings in more sales/leads. If your article is accepted by a major site or online magazine that already has a large number of visitors, you’re going to see the hits on your page rise like never before. Besides all of this, if you create an article that is ranked high in search listings and stays there for a while, you’ll notice your traffic will stay almost continuous as long as the chosen keyword stays ranked.

Creating and posting articles on to article directories will generate publicity at no cost. No one would call this a bad thing. Publicity is something that every business person adores and when it’s free, it makes it even better. The only thing an article marketing campaign will cost you is your time – they are free to write, free to submit and free to publish. This is perfect for up and coming Internet marketers who aren’t able to pay for a service that costs a lot, but are able to submit articles to directories.

If you compare article marketing to taking out an ad in a newspaper or publishing newsletters, article marketing will win hands down. Because it is free to do, article marketing has one of the largest returns on investment you’ll ever see in online marketing, and it gives you the chance to offer helpful information to potential customers, building yourself and your company a reputation as experts in your field. Contrast this against an ad that requires money and will only be effective for a limited amount of time or so long as you keep paying.

If you’re going to try article marketing, make sure you have a carefully thought out game plan. Turning out articles for submission like you’re on a treadmill is not the solution. My advice is quality over quantity because in the end, that is where the money is.

How To Unleash The Power Of Article Marketing

These days, you can hardly get away from people talking about how powerful article marketing can be for promoting your products and services on the Web. They talk about how it allows you to get a big number of links back to your website, which increases your web site’s rankings on search engines such as Google. But what they don’t talk about is effective article marketing.

Leveraging The Power Of An Article

It’s quite easy to write an article around a certain keyword and start submitting it to various article directories such as Ezine Articles and Go Articles. In fact, you no longer have to do it yourself because there are people all around the world who can do it on your behalf for a small fee.

When it comes to effective article marketing, the real power of an article is not found in the content.

Yes, you cannot underestimate the importance of content, especially if you want to keep the reader glued to the article until its conclusion. However, it is the resource box at the bottom of each article which is seldom used effectively.

Most people tend to do this.

Most people tend to use the resource box to explain their background and their experience and just leave a link back to their website. That’s it. Believe it or not, this is a very ineffective way of using the resource box.

What most people don’t know is that the resource box is there for you to make the reader take action. The only way to do this is by making them an offer they can’t refuse.

Think about it this way.

You spend 400-600 words in the body giving them valuable information about a certain topic. The resource box only gives you about 100 words to talk about your products and services. And you have to take full advantage of it!

How To Effectively Use A Resource Box

Most (if not all) article directories allow you to put 2 links in the resource box. For the sake of an example, let’s assume that your target article directory only allows you to put 2 links. Here’s how to use them:

  • Link 1 – link to the main sales page of your main product and/or service
  • Link 2 – link to an opt-in box where the visitor can get a free product and/or service

The reality is that not everyone will be interested in purchasing what you have to offer right after reading your article. The fact is that the majority of them won’t.. This is why you should use the second link to promote a free product and/or service which they can access by entering in their email address. By doing this, you can email them valuable and helpful content along with any promotional offers you may have, even after they have left your website. What’s more, this email marketing sequence can be automated by using software such as Aweber.

In the world of Internet marketing, you have make the most of what you’ve got and engaging in effective article marketing is a good way of doing that.

SIERRA MADRE, CA - MAY 29: Spam, the often-ma...

This review includes both Article Marketing Automation and My Article Network as the latter gets their articles from the first. Also, this is a negative review so it really has no positive points. Just the points I don’t like about it and feel that others should know about before joining.

Let me share one thing I feel is a plus for the AMA network. If you are only looking to get articles published across a huge network then I would say pay the membership fee and go wild.

My review isn’t about writing and publishing my own articles on the network it’s about using articles from the network for my 20 sites.

Let me give you some stats from my account:

  • I have 20 sites registered on the AMA system.
  • I have been given 7,241 articles across those sites.
  • I have approved 256 but I have rejected 6,648, which means I’ve rejected 96%. That’s a lot of time I have wasted looking at crap, duplicate content and spam links just to get 256 articles.
  • Each day I have about 300 articles waiting for your decision, but most are the same articles I rejected, back again. Maybe re-written a little but the same damn crap.

I spend most of my time rejecting their articles because a huge amount are just the same articles rewritten and put back into the system for me to reject.

Note: I have my account set so that each site only gets a maximum of 10 articles a day. I couldn’t begin to imagine how much crap I would have to wade through if I increased that number.

What Makes Me Reject Articles On The AMA Network?

  1. Non-Related Links: First understand that each article on this network can have 3 links to what ever the author wants. So the first thing I check for are relevant links. If the author writes about fishing but links to sites about auto insurance I consider that to be spam and reject them immediately.
  2. Linking To Duplicate Content: I follow the links back to the sites so I can see what I am linking to and so many times I see that they are just linking to the same article on their site. What’s up with that?? They also get rejected, because for the life of me I can’t figure out why I would want to send someone to the same article and look like an idiot.
  3. Spam Articles, Wrong Category: Then there are the articles that have absolutely nothing to do with any of my niches but they end up in every one of my categories. This is just out-right spamming and even though I have given feedback about these spammers they are still there after a couple of years.
  4. Lack of Support: I have contacted support in the past and never received a response until months later. The response was to say they are sorry they did respond to my ticket, but then they didn’t even bother to address the ticket.
  5. Poor English Skills: I don’t claim to be a talented author and that’s not always a requirement but if you can’t write in English then you need to do something about that. Why would I want articles that I can’t get through the first sentence without the need to re-read it over and over to understand it.
  6. Article Spinners Make It Tough: It’s bad enough to feel the need to reject more than 95% of articles but it really sucks that these authors just rewrite the articles and send them back into the system, so over time the number of articles rejected each day just grows and grows.

What I Look For In An Article Network?

Really it’s pretty simple, I look for articles that,

  • match my niche content
  • have links that go to relevant content
  • don’t link to the same article
  • are written in proper English
  • are not rewrites of the same article I have used
  • are not stolen from other article directories

Those requirements don’t seem to be too much to ask but I have a problem getting articles for my sites, even with 300 articles a day. Something that should take me an hour takes me all morning some days and I still go without articles.

Note: I only publish articles every other day on my sites, and still have to come up with content on my own or from other sites.

Many people see the potential of the web to generate income on auto pilot . The stories sound very simple to implement, but these guys often(as in most of the time) leave out a major portion of their success. They do not tell you how many sites they have working with their method, and they do not tell you how many people they have either outsourcing work or actually working for them to accomplish this.

Think about it – people showing evidence they make 30k, 40k in a single month on the web are NOT doing that with 1 or 2 sites, or by placing a few ads, or by building a few links a day. They very often have web sites numbering in the hundreds that they built up with a team of people helping them.

Given that this is occurring, what are new marketers supposed to do, as everyone has to start somewhere. What needs to be done is to not have unrealistic expectations of earnings and make efficient use of your time. I will share with you a secret to get your site jump started with traffic and ranking for multiple keywords on autopilot.  You can use social bookmarking, an article directory, forum and blog posting – whatever you are best at to build links to your site with this method

This can be started by using the Google keywords tool, or any other software tool of your choice Type in your main keyword and then find related keywords automatically. You want a list of about 200 or so keywords so you can sort through them by searches per month. Sift through this list and pick about 5 top keywords with about 2500-5000 searches per month, and then pick an additional 10 with 1000 or less searches per month, ideally with 4 words in the keyword (long tail).

The regular method most people use is to pick high traffic keywords to build up in hopes you could really get a lot of traffic to your site. This is backward from the way it actually works. While it makes sense that high traffic keywords are great, they are often very difficult to get ranked for and take a ton of effort and time to work on. The real secret to big traffic is to completely ignore the high traffic keywords and work on the long tail ones exclusively. While it seems counter intuitive to do this, it will set your site up for big traffic.

These keywords will be much easier to rank for, and you are shooting for the top 20 on all of them. Once you have this done, you should see some nice traffic. Now is when you start on the top 4 or 5 from your list earlier. It will be far, far easier to rank for them now, as Google will give your site more credence because of the other work you have done. Because you worked on the other keywords first, the amount of work required to rank for these other words is probably cut in half.
