Snagit Screenshots - Digital Products

Digital product delivery entails a few steps in order to set up your product correctly.    If you are an internet marketer, you need to learn these steps so you can use them to promote your products on the Internet.

The delivery of digital products requires the use of a computer, an HTML editor, and an FTP program.  When you have a digital product, here are the steps that you take to set it up so you can start selling it on the Internet:

  • Download your digital product folder on your desktop.  Keep all your product files together in one folder.  It is important to be organized.
  • Make sure you have a salespage, a download or thank you page, and a product that you are going to deliver.  You will also have an images file.
  • Use an HTML editor and upload your salespage, and call it index.html.  Your salespage is called index because that is always the page that will automatically open up in a directory.  Make any edits that you need to make on your sales page.
  • Get an autoresponder service and create a list for your product.  Create a web form for the list.  Get the opt in code from the web form and install it in your sales page, using your HTML editor.  The opt in code is where your subscribers will fill in their names and email addresses.
  • Create a file for your digital product that you are going to deliver.  If you are providing a salespage or squeeze page with the product so that your customers can resell the product, make sure you also insert the graphics, or images file, as well as these pages for them to edit, and deliver them together with the product.  Zip up your product file to make it into a compressed file.
  • Edit your download page on your HTML editor.  On the HTML editor create a download link on your download page for your digital product.  Make sure your links work.  Always test them.
  • Insert the name of your download page as the “confirmation page” in your autoresponder, so that people are taken to this page when they subscribe.  This is what it would look like:  http://www.yourdomain.com/product-name/downloadpage.  (Don’t name it download page, name it something that people will not be able to guess, such as “downloadkdo30d938) so hackers cannot download your product for free).
  • Get a domain, where you are going to place your product.  You can buy a domain from Hostgator, Hostmonster, or other providers.  Activate the domain.
  • Go to your domain in your FTP program.
  • Open up the domain and create a directory under a domain, such as www.yourdomain.com/product-name.
  • Upload your files directly under the specifed directory, making sure you follow the correct path.  In other words, if you are going to name it www.yourdomain.com/product-name, make sure you insert all the files directly under the folder called “product-name”, not directly under the domain.
  • Test all your pages.  Make sure your salespage takes you to your autoresponder when you submit an email address in the opt in form.  Make sure that the autoresponder then sends you to the correct download page, or “confirmation page”.  And again, test your link in the download page, and make sure it takes you to the delivery of the digital product.

These are basic steps that you will always use to deliver your digital product, so it is good to learn them.  Make sure you follow these steps in order, so that you don’t get confused.  Once you have set up your products a couple of times it gets easier.  You will be able to set up the delivery of digital products in no time.

Don’t struggle anymore because you do not know how to set up your products. Here is a series that includes 12 videos that will take you step by step through the digital product delivery process.

Niche Affiliate Marketing System (NAMS) 2

There are thousands of internet marketing strategies.  The internet moves at a very fast pace and new ideas are introduced constantly.   To be an effective internet marketer it is necessary to keep up with the moving trends and innovations of the industry.

Internet marketers introduce new online ideas and products every day through launches and other promotional efforts.  The big marketers usually start promoting their product weeks before it is released to build up anticipation.  They form joint ventures with other marketers who promote their product.

These joint venture partners get a commission from the sale and promote the product to their list of customers.  They usually attach a bonus to the product launch in order to make the sale more attractive.  It sometimes ends up in what seems to be a war of the bonuses among the joint venture partners to try to offer the best bonus and make the most sales.

The main aim of any internet marketing strategy is always to attract traffic to a business.  Whatever the product or the new hottest invention, it is always about driving traffic. Without traffic of interested buyers, there are no sales.

Let’s look at some commonly used and effective internet marketing strategies.  Here are some ways to start driving traffic if you are just starting in internet marketing:

  1. Join an affiliate program.  Affiliate programs offer products that are already made that you can sell for a commission.  There are several places where you can find affiliate products to promote such as Clickbank, Paydotcom, Commission Junction, and others.  Affiliate programs usually offer a 50 percent or more commission on their products.  So search for a product that is selling well in one of these places I just mentioned.  You get your affiliate link for the product or products that you choose and advertise that link.
  2. Create a blog.  Set up a website or a blog, which will be your home.  Go to WordPress and get a free blog.  You can have it hosted by WordPress but it is better to host it on a paid server such as Hostmonster or Hostgator, so you can have full control over your blog.  Otherwise, WordPress can decide what you can post on it and can make you take it down if they don’t like it.
  3. Write articles.  Start filling up your blog with content, or articles.  Write articles related to your niche and create links in your articles promoting your affiliate products.  You post these articles on your blog as well as on article directories and bookmarking sites.  This way the articles get distributed over the internet and ranked by the search engines.  This is a great way of advertising and it is free.
  4. Post promotional material.  Post other promotional materials on your blog.  Products usually bring promotional materials that you can use, such as banners, ads, etc.  Post these on your blog as well, so that when people click on them they are taken to the product page.  Make sure your affiliate link is inserted in the banner, or else you will not get the commission if the sale is made.

This is a basic internet marketing strategy that many people use.  From there, let it take you where it may.  You may find that you are attracted to certain marketing strategies that you find.  But this is a good common starting ground.  Even though it is simple, it does involve learning and dedication, and you will discover other strategies along the way.

There are so many different internet marketing strategies coming out every day that it gets a little overwhelming, especially for a beginner.  There are thousands of offers and everyone is promising to make you rich.  And you may find yourself going in a thousand different directions.  This is a problem that a lot of beginners face.  So be aware of this.

There is one membership that I belong to that I love because it offers everything in one place.  Every month I get an incredible amount of content and products, as well as education.  I really get all I need there on a monthly basis, and this makes my life a lot easier than chasing the next new product.  Click here and learn about Turbo Membership, my favorite internet marketing strategy.

The Don’ts of Internet Marketing

nördfest@parken

If you’re just starting on your goal to start a small business online or make money blogging, then you’re luckier than you think. It’s true that online businesses and profit-driven blogging hasn’t just become a common way to earn money, but it’s also become a most competitive industry.

What works to your advantage, however, is the fact that there’s a lot of information now on how you can earn money from your site. Advice is all over the place, as are tutorials and instructional manuals on how you can put up your online store or start blogging for money.

One of the first things you’ll find out about making a profit online is that you have to draw up an effective internet marketing strategy. If you’re no stranger to blogging for profit, you would know by now that a good internet marketing strategy is indispensable when it comes to earning money from your site. What this basically means is that you have to create a good strategy that lets you promote your products or services through your site.

What a lot of neophytes are unaware of, however, is the fact that not all internet marketing strategies will work for their benefit. Some of the information about internet marketing is actually not credible, and can be more damaging to your online enterprise and your efforts to make money blogging. Are you also committing these internet marketing blunders? Read on to find out what you should NOT do if you want to launch a successful promotional campaign for your blog:

1. Building a website that’s great to look at – but takes ages to load:

It’s good to put effort into your blog’s appearance, to make it as attractive as possible to create a favorable impression on your visitors. What won’t work, however, is a blog design that takes forever to load on the screen, or a site that’s bogged down by too many high-end applications. After all, if your visitors feel that your site is always making them wait, they’re likely to stop coming back. Ultimately, a gorgeous site that takes too much time to load is just as bad as an ugly template. Both of them make your readers feel like you’re wasting their time, and they’ll just end up moving on to other blogs where they can get what they want in a few seconds.

2. Expending minimal effort at keyword research:

Most bloggers think that keyword research is all about just finding what the top keywords are, how many hits these keywords are pulling in from search engines, and which keywords in their niche can possibly turn a profit. Sure, these are all part of the whole package. But have you actually come up with a keyword research system that will really make your site earn money?

Don’t just stop at looking up keyword rankings and finding out how many people, on average, are using the search terms, “how to lose weight”. Instead, you should also watch the activity behind each keyword you put up strategically on your site: which keywords actually fetch you the most number of visits? Of these keywords, which ones actually end up with a sign-up or a sale? You should start a process for keyword research that’s more organized and more relevant in its thrust.

3. Scratching just the surface of your web stats:

Okay, so you already have Google Analytics tracking the activity on your site. It’s been running for a good while now, gathering a lot of useful data that you can use to boost your blog’s earnings. But are you really making the most out of your analytics tool? Most bloggers just look at how many people are going to their site, taking note of how much time their visitors are spending on which web page, et cetera. Yet these factors lie only on the surface, and aren’t enough to spur your blog towards greater profit.

A better course of action would be to trace the roots of your traffic and see where your visitors are coming from. Are they coming from search engines? Which keywords are bringing your visitors to your site? Maybe your e-mail campaign is hauling all your visitors in? Whatever it is, make sure that you know where your visitors are coming from so you know where your blog should go.

Take note, however, that an effective marketing campaign doesn’t ensure long-term success — not if your product isn’t up to par. Your best advertisement still lies in your product itself. No matter how good your promotional tactics are, a bad product will never sustain a profit for long. A good, reliable product will make its own waves when it’s introduced properly to its target market. Polish up your internet marketing strategy, and your site will soon yield the rewards that you would like it to.

What’s So Great About Internet Marketing?

Massive Change in Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is an interesting thing and it has been getting more and more attention lately. So, what exactly is internet marketing? It is simply the use of the internet to market a product or service. It has created many millionaires in the past decade. There are many people who actually make money marketing products online that teach people how to market products online. Internet marketing is completely different than any form of marketing in the past. It can be done for free or it can cost a whole lot of money or it can fall somewhere in between.

The thing about internet marketing that makes it so unique and wonderful is that with a little research the average person can get started selling products on the internet for a very small cost and make quite a bit of money. Now, it doesn’t always work out that way, but that is usually because too few people do their homework before jumping into the internet marketing game. With a little research, a person can quickly learn a few important things like:

  • How to build a website
  • How to do SEO on their website to attract traffic
  • What products or services to sell
  • How to design their website to convert traffic into sales
  • How to use other forms of internet marketing like forum posts, article marketing and email marketing for maximum results while spending minimal amounts of money.

Many people have become millionaires through internet marketing and many more millionaires will yet be made. The only difference between the people who succeed and the people who fail is their understanding of the best internet marketing techniques and how to properly implement them.

Not everyone can go out tomorrow and put together a business plan, gather investors and start a huge corporation or manufacturing business, but anyone can start an internet marketing business right from their own home and without having to know “the right people”. Internet marketing levels the playing field and allows the “little guy” to compete with the giant corporations and sometimes even win! Internet marketing doesn’t have to cost a lot of money and can be done in just a few hours per week. The real keys to internet marketing are knowledge and consistency and these are things that can be learned by just about anyone who is willing to take the time.

Are you ready to learn how to get your site ranked in the search engines? It’s possible even without spending massive amounts of money or taking months and months. Watch our free search engine optimization tutorial from http://www.InlineSEO.com

eBay Inc.
Image via Wikipedia

Do you know a good reputation will get you sales easily when you are selling on ebay. when a ebay PowerSeller tells me something, I tend to believe them. They can be selling on ebay a pretty unlikely item, but if they guarantee it is what they say it is, then I trust them – they’re not going to risk their reputation, after all. This is the power of a reputation: people know you want to keep it, and they know you’ll go to almost any lengths to do so.

This is true even to the point that I would sooner buy something for $20 from a seller I know I can trust than for $15 from someone with average feedback. It’s worth the extra money to feel like the seller knows what they’re doing, has all their systems in place and will get me the item quickly and efficiently. So you want to be a successful seller selling on ebay with your own eBay business, do you? Here’s a simple, ten-step path to selling on eBay enlightenment.

Step 1: Identify your market.

Take a while to sit and watch for what to selling on ebay and what doesn’t out of the items you’re interested in. Any market research data you can collect will be very useful to you later on. You’ll probably see the ’sweet spots’ quite quickly – those one or two items that always seem to selling on ebay for a good price.

Step 2: Watch the competition.

Before you invest any money to start selling on ebay, see what the other sellers in your category are up to, and what their strategies are. Pay special attention to any flaws their auctions might have, because this is where you can move in and beat them at their own game.

Step 3: Find a product.

Get hold of a supplier for whatever it is you want to selling on ebay, and see what the best rates you can get are – don’t be afraid to ring round quite a few to get the best deal. If the eBay prices you’ve seen are higher than the supplier’s, then you’re set.

Step 4: Start small.

Don’t throw thousands at your idea straight away – get started slowly, see what works and what doesn’t, and learn as you go. Remember that it’s very cheap to try out even the craziest ideas selling on eBay, and who knows, they might just work!

Step 5: Test and repeat.

Keep trying different strategies until you find something that works to enable your successful selling on ebay, and then don’t be ashamed to keep doing it, again and again. The chances are that you’ve just found a good niche.

Step 6: Work out a business plan.

A business plan selling on ebay doesn’t need to be anything formal, just a few pages that outline the market opportunity you’ve spotted, your strategy, strengths and weaknesses of the plan and a brief budget. This is more for you than it is for anyone else.

Step 7: Invest and expand.

This is the time to throw money at the problem selling on ebay. Buy inventory, and start spending more time on your business. Set a goal number of sales each week when you are selling on ebay, increasing it each time.

Step 8: Make it official.

Once you’ve made a few thousand dollars worth of sales by selling on ebay, you should really register yourself as a business. Don’t worry, it’s not expensive or hard to do – a lawyer is the best person to help you through the process.

Step 9: Automate It.

You’ll probably find that you’re writing the same things again and again in emails or item descriptions. This is the time to give up on the manual method and turn to automated software that can create listings for you to start selling on ebay, and respond to completed auctions and payments with whatever message you provide.

Step 10: Never give up.

Even when it looks like it’s all going wrong, don’t stop trying until you succeed. If you keep working at it then you’ll almost always find that you make a real breakthrough just when things are starting to look desperate.

Once you get into the swing of things selling on ebay, you might start thinking that you should quit your job and take up eBay selling part time. But it’s not always as easy as that – there are all sorts of factors that you need to consider. If you are seriously want to success selling on ebay, take your time Watch These 7 Videos on everything, and I mean everything you need to know about to become Successful Selling On eBay!
